In 2001, Dr. Rohit Sharma and Dr. Preeti Sharma, dentists trained in India and the US, set up Dental Innovations on the wings of a dream. They shared a common vision – high quality, holistic dentistry, where patients come first.

Dental Innovations is a modern, well appointed dental clinic. The reception is luxurious and relaxing, with calming music, reading matter and a welcoming cup of warm or cool beverage. The centre has 3 well appointed dental treatment rooms. The equipment in these rooms include ultrasonics, high speed rotaries, fibreoptic handpieces, dental chairs with memory foam, digital xrays, diode soft tissue lasers, intraoral cameras and screens to review xrays and scans.

Dentistry is a team effort at Dental Innovations. We have a team of specialists who treat our patients in specialised areas. We also have specific orthodontic days when the Orthodontist (braces specialist) is available at our practice.

Our efficient and helpful team at reception assists with appointments, payments, paperwork and general enquiries. We have well trained, committed dental assistants who assist the doctor with all procedures.

We love to make you smile: We look for little ways to make your appointment more comfortable. There are hot and cool beverages and reading matter at our reception, blankets for the feet, cushions available for your back, calming images on the chair screen (you just need to ask for any of these) and a team of well trained and compassionate doctors (these come without you having to ask!).

We remind you about your scheduled appointment a day before. We also have 6 monthly reminders to remind you when you are due for a periodic check up.

Disinfection and Sterilization

Disinfection and Sterilization forms a crucial part of our practice. We have a dedicated Disinfection and Sterilization area. All instruments and equipment go through recommended sterilization protocols as outlined by the American Dental Association.

The following is the procedure we follow for sterilization of instruments.

Used needles are cut and burnt. All our dental chairs are wiped down with disinfecting sprays and wipes between patients. Our dental chairs are fitted with no- reverse flow valves and use purified /distilled water. We use air purifiers for many procedures that reduce the quality of air such as silver amalgam removal. Our high vacuum suction also reduces aerosol around the operating tooth. Our sterilization procedures are reviewed every 6 months.

Quality Control

All the brands of materials we use are well rated by industry and research standards. We rely heavily on brands that are focused on research and long term studies. Our laboratory fabrication of dental restorations is done by skilled technicians at two of India’s premier dental laboratories.
